LITTLE LOVE LESSONS

A little guidance.
A lot of heart.

Three short practices to read and try together. Choose one that fits the moment.

These are free written lessons. Avatar-led video editions are planned; there is no live or automated coach in this version.

01 · LISTEN · ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO TRY

A moment to feel heard

Before starting, ask whether your partner has room for a short conversation. Agree on a time you both want to give.

“What has taken the most energy today? Would you like me to listen, or help you think it through?”

Let one person answer without interruption. Reflect the main point in your own words, then ask, “Did I get that right?” Switch roles. You don't need to agree about everything to understand what someone is trying to say.

Your little practice

Two minutes each to talk, then one minute to choose a small, realistic way to support each other. Skip problem-solving if listening is what was requested.

02 · ASK · ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO TRY

Make a request, leave room for an answer

Choose one everyday thing you would appreciate. Describe it clearly and make it small enough to discuss.

“I've missed having time together. Would you be up for twenty minutes over tea tomorrow?”

Give the other person space to say yes, no, or suggest another plan. If your request isn't possible, ask what might work. Keep the conversation about this moment rather than collecting evidence from the past.

Your little practice

Each finish the sentence: “One small thing I would appreciate this week is...” Then choose a plan you both genuinely agree to.

03 · MAKE TIME · ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO PLAN

Choose one ritual worth repeating

Start with your real schedule. A short walk, a shared breakfast, or one question before bed can be enough.

“What is one small moment together we would both look forward to this week?”

Agree on when, where, and how long. If the plan falls through, choose another time without keeping score. After trying it, ask whether it felt good and whether you'd like to repeat it.

Your little practice

Choose one activity from the idea library, put it on your own calendars, and keep the plan comfortably small.
