DATE NIGHTS

Six date nights for when you’re both tired

A date can be a small change in attention, not a complicated production.

Start by choosing an energy level and a budget together. Twenty pleasant minutes count. You don’t need to dress up, travel, or turn every evening into a memorable event.

1. The living-room listening party

Each choose three songs: one from childhood, one from when you met, and one you love now. Share the memory behind each. Use what you already have; there is nothing to buy.

2. Dessert and a different question

Split a favorite snack and ask, “What would you like a little more of in your life right now?” Let the conversation wander. Skip any question that doesn’t feel comfortable.

3. The photo-roll wander

Pick five photos each that you’re comfortable sharing. Tell the stories behind them. Stay with chosen photos; this is an invitation to share, not a phone inspection.

4. A tiny neighborhood adventure

Choose a short, accessible route and notice three things you’ve never paid attention to before. If going out isn’t practical, plan a future outing together over tea.

5. A cooperative game

Try a game or puzzle you already own. Agree that stopping while it’s still fun is allowed. If you want a guided option, our shop links to date books and conversation cards.

6. Tomorrow’s breakfast, tonight

Prepare a simple breakfast together while talking about a small thing you’re looking forward to. You get time together now and an easier morning later.

Choose one plan, set a comfortable end time, and let “nice” be enough.
